Kirron Kher Diagnosed With Blood Cancer; Bigg Boss 14's Kavita Kaushik Reveals Her Father Also Had Multiple Myeloma, Offers Help To Anupam Kher

Bigg Boss 14 contestant Kavita Kaushik sent her prayers to Kirron Kher and offered Anupam Kher to provide details of an Ayurvedic doctor, who successfully treated her father.

Veteran actress and BJP MP Kirron Kher has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma - a type of blood cancer. Her husband Anupam Kher took to social media to inform the fans about her health scare. He revealed that Kher is undergoing treatment for the same and is on the road to recovery. The ‘Accidental Prime Minister’ actor thanked the fans for their love and support in his statement.

Popular TV actress Kavita Kaushik sent her prayers to Kirron Kher and revealed that her father was also diagnosed with multiple myeloma. The ‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestant added that an Ayurvedic doctor’s herbs and medicine helped her father in defeating cancer. The ‘FIR’ star said that she would be happy to provide the details to Anupam Kher if he is open to it.

“Dear @AnupamPKher my father had M Myeloma, repeated chemotherapy proved ineffective as it relapsed several times, however a Ayurvedic doc's herbs and medicine helped increase kretanine levels and clean out the cancer, I'd be happy to give details if you are open to it, prayers,” Kaushik tweeted.

Many Bollywood celebs including Parineeti Chopra, Juhi Chawla, Ranvir Shorey prayed for Kirron Kher’s speedy recovery after Anupam shared the news on Twitter. Juhi Chawla wrote, "Kirronji always radiates positivity . With her spirit and strength & a support as strong as you Anupam ji & Sikandar , she will surely overcome all adversity . God Bless."

“She is currently undergoing treatment and we are sure she will come out of this stronger than before. We are very blessed that she is being looked after by a phenomenal set of doctors. She's always been a fighter and takes things head on,” Anupam Kher said in a statement.

Kirron Kher was elected as a MP for the second time in Chandigarh in 2019. Despite joining politics, she continued to remain active in showbiz. She judged several seasons of popular reality show ‘India’s Got Talent’ along with Malaika Arora and Karan Johar.
