After the huge success of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 8', the stunt-based reality show is all set to back on TV screens this year with its ninth season. With filmmaker Rohity Shetty returning as host of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 9', there were reports that the makers have approached famous celebs like Karan Tacker, Arshi Khan, Prince Narula, Yuvika Choudhary, Devoleena Bhattacharjee among others to participate in the show. The show are trying there level best to rope in popular names for the show.

Now according to latest reports, Bollywood actress Shamita Shetty adventure-based reality show.
Speaking about the same, a source told a leading daily that Shamita Shetty is all set to be a part of the upcoming season of Khatron Ke Khiladi hosted by Rohit Shetty.

The sources further told DNA that, "Shamita is also a fitness freak, extremely particular about her diet and workout, which makes her ideal for the adventure reality show."
Shamita has not yet reacted on the same but if this turns out to be true then 'Kkk 9' will be her third reality show. In the past, she has also appeared as contestant in popular reality shows like 'Bigg Boss 3' and 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8' on the same channel.

Also, she is set to make her comeback in films after more than a decade with her next 'The Tenant'. Touted as an international project, "The Tenant" is about a woman with a mysterious past. Shamita will be seen playing the lead role of the woman whose arrival in a middle class housing society causes a stir.

Shamita made her Bollywood debut with Aditya Chopra's film 'Mohabbatein' in 2000 after which she featured in various films like 'Saathiya', 'Fareb', 'Zeher' among others but failed to make it big. Also known for hit item numbers like '"Sharara Sharara" and "Chori Pe Chori", Shamita's last Bollywood film in a full-fledged role was 'Cash' opposite Ajay Devgn in 2007. After which, she made special appearances in 'Heyy Babyy' and 'Hari Puttar' in the same year.
Last year, she also made her digital debut with the web series "Yo Ke Hua Bro".
