After the huge success of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 8', the stunt-based reality show is all set to back on TV screens this year with its ninth season. With filmmaker Rohity Shetty returning as host of 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 9', there were reports that the makers have approached famous celebs like Karan Tacker, Kavita Kaushik, Arshi Khan, Prince Narula, Yuvika Choudhary among others to participate in the show.

The makers had reportedly approached another popular TV actor for the show's upcoming season & he's none other than 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' actor Mishal Raheja. But, the actor has turned down the offer.

Mishal is all set to enter ZEE TV's top-rated show 'Kumkum Bhagya'[READ HERE...] as rockstar 'King Singh' after the leap & due to the same he said 'no' to 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 9'.

Speaking about the same, Mishal told TOI that, "Its not that I was not keen on doing Khatron Ke Khiladi, but acting is my first love so I said yes to Kumkum Bhagya. I feel very happy when I am acting and no other feeling can replace it. Also the character offered to me was so interesting that it tempted me to accept it and I grabbed the opportunity with both the hands."

Mishal Raheja's first lead role on TV was SAB TV show 'Love Story' produced by Anurag Basu. But he rose to fame as 'Dutta Bhau' in Colors show 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' opposite Mahhi Vij.

Later, Mishal quit the show & was replaced as 'Dutta Bhau' by none other than 'Kumkum Bhagya' lead actor Shabir Ahluwalia. And now, the two actors are set to share screen-space for the first time in 'Kumkum Bhagya'. He was last seen in 'Colors' show 'Ishq Ka Rang Safed' & is making his cameback after one and half years with the 'ZEE TV' show.
