TV actress Hina Khan, who is currently wooing viewers with her performance as stylish vamp Komolika in reboot of Star Plus show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' also featuring Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes, is having a great year professionally. The actress, who became a household name as Akshara from 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', recently completed shooting for her debut Bollywood film titled 'Lines' in Kashmir. Now, the actress has announced another project. Hina Khan, who already has her plate full with many assignments, started her new year with the script reading session of her new project.

On 1st January, without revealing much about the project, Hina posted a picture with film & TV actor Vivan Bhathena with the caption, "New Year Day 1...New Beginnings...Script Readings...Something New Is Coming Up Peeps"

The news made her fans super-happy & curious.

Yesterday (2nd January), Hina interacted with her fans during a live chat session on Instagram & she spilled the beans on her new project during the same. Hina revealed that she is working on a short film for a big platform & the makers of Bollywood film 'Fuddu' are directing and producing it. The short film also features Vivan Bhathena & another girl (she didn't mentioned any name) along with Hina. The 'Bigg Boss 11' runner-up is playing a challenging dual-personality character in the short film. The shooting for the short-film starts today (3rd January) & will be wrapped-up in the next 2-3 days. She further revealed that her new hair-style (she recently chopped her long tresses short) is for this short-film.

Isn't it exciting? Seems like, the 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 8' finalist is in a mood to experiment and is picking up contrasting roles.

After playing an ideal bahu in 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' for 8 years, Hina took a break from fiction shows and did reality show. Post which, she is indeed at the peak of her career. Apart from 'Kasautii..', her debut film 'Lines' and this short-film, Hina has signed another show with TV czarina Ekta Kapoor in which she will be playing the female positive lead. Also, she has already completed shooting for another short-film titled 'Smarphone' with actor Kunal Roy Kapur.

Speaking about her co-star Vivan Bhathena, he is a known-name in the entertainment industry and has been a part of various popular TV shows as well as films. Hina & Vivan will be working together for the first time & they'll surely look great together on-screen.
