TV actor Parth Samthaan, who is currently winning hearts with her performance as 'Anurag Basu' in Ekta Kapoor's reboot of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' also featuring Erica Fernandes & Hina Khan, recently celebrated his birthday on 11th March. To celebrate his special day, Parth Samthaan hosted a birthday bash which was attended by his close friends. Various pictures & videos of Parth having fun with his 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' co-stars Erica, Shubhaavi Choksey, Pooja Banerjee among others went viral. Whereas, Hina Khan aka Komolika was missing from the bash which raised many eyebrows.

Later, there were reports that Hina Khan was not invited for Parth Samthaan's birthday bash. While Hina is yet to react on the same, Parth has finally divulged details on why the 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actress was not on the invitee list.

Speaking about the same, Parth told a leading daily that, "I like to celebrate my birthday with my loved ones and people I have been working with closely. I had planned it at the last minute. I rarely host a party and if I do, I don’t like having 200 people over. I prefer an intimate gathering."

He further told Hindustan Times that, "I have known Erica longer as we have been working in the show since day one. We are good friends and that’s why I called her. On the other hand, Hina and I have a very professional relationship. I hardly know her as we have been shooting for just over a month. I don’t even have her number. We respect each other’s work, work well together, and have a good working relationship."

While Hina can be seen chilling with 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' co-stars Shubhaavi, Pooja and Ariah Aggarwal on the sets, she shares only professional relationships with Parth & Erica. Recently, there were reports that Hina & Erica share cold vibes on the sets. However, both the actresses later clarified that all is well between them.

Coming back to Parth Samthaan, he made his TV debut with episodic show 'Gumrah: End of Innocence'. Post which, he went on to feature in popular TV shows like 'Best Friends Forever?', 'Savdhaan India', 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui' among others and rose to fame after playing the lead role of 'Manik' in MTV's popular youth show 'Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan' opposite Niti Taylor. Currently, he is getting great response for his performance in 'Kasautii...' reboot.
