Ekta Kapoor's reboot of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' reboot, featuring Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in lead roles, is one of the most loved and top-rated shows on Indian Television. Apart from the performances of lead stars, viewers are also loving the twists and turns. After Hina Khan aka Komolika's exit, the makers have already introduced the character of 'Mr. Bajaj' in the Star Plus show. As reported earlier, Karan Singh Grover was all set to enter the show as 'Mr. Bajaj' but the latest buzz suggests that he is no longer in the run to play the iconic role played by Ronit Roy in the original.

Earlier, there were reports that Karan Singh Grover is unsure about the role and now he will not be seen playing 'Mr. Bajaj'.

Speaking about the same, a source told an entertainment portal that, "Karan Singh Grover is no longer being considered for the character of Mr Bajaj by Balaji Telefilms as a source tells us that some rushes of his new show were seen by the creators and they realised that he would not be able to do justice to the role of Mr Bajaj. The reason being that he would look too old opposite the main lead, Erica Fernandes and have hence decided to go ahead and keep their search on for the new Mr Bajaj."

The source further told Pinkvilla that, "Karan hadn’t signed the contract with the production house till date. They kept waiting for it given the initial plan was to introduce the character sooner but looks like the delay from his side is making the makers think again."

The actor as well as the makers are yet to react on the same. However, it'll be interesting to see who will finally play 'Mr. Bajaj' & romance Erica Fernandes on screen.
