Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes starrer ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has become the talk of the town even before it goes on air. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to promote the show in the best way possible. Prominent TV and Bollywood celebs unveiled Anurag-Prerna’s ‘Statue of Love’ in 10 cities as part of the promotions. The show’s producer Ekta Kapoor gave fans a sneak peak of Komolika’s outfit in Kasautii 2 on her Instagram story.

The TV Czerina posted some pictures of colourful cholis and blouses that new age Komolika will wear on KZK 2. The ‘Naagin 3’ and ‘Kundali Bhagya’ producer shared the pictures with the caption, ‘’Recreating Komolika’’.

Urvashi Dholika, who played the role of Komolika, flaunted her sarees and big bindis on the show and it is rumoured that Hina Khan will step into her shoes for the reboot of Kasautii.

It is rumoured that Hina Khan will give a new twist to Komolika’s signature tune and will hum the tune herself. Interestingly, the ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress is also said to flaunt her own trademark earrings on the show, instead of the big bindi.

Although, both Hina and Ekta have remained tight-lipped about the 'Bigg Boss 11' finalist in Kasautii, all signs point that she is indeed playing Komolika.

Talking about the show, Parth and Erica will be playing the respective roles of Anurag and Prerna in Kasautii 2. The show will be set against the backdrop of Kolkata and the star cast recently shot for the same in the ‘City of Joy’.

The romantic saga will hit the airwaves from September 25 at 8pm slot on Star Plus.
