Popular TV actor Harshad Chopda, who was last seen romancing Jennifer Winget in much-loved Colors show 'Bepannaah', is reportedly also in contention to play 'Mr. Bajaj' in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'.

Speaking about the same, a source told Tellychakkar that, "Karan will most probably be a part of the show, but discussions are on for the same. Karan may also have date issues, which leaves the production house in a dilemma. Hence, the makers have also approached Harshad Chopda for the role."
The actor, who earlier worked with Ekta Kapoor in 'Kis Des Mein Hai Mera Dil', is yet to react on the same.

The character of 'Mr. Bajaj' has already been introduced in 'Kasautii...' as Anurag's business rival and protagonists often seen talking about him in the show. In one of the recent episodes, a blur picture of 'Mr. Bajaj' was also shown and the viewers are desperately waiting to see who will finally play the role in reboot version.
On a related note, Ronit Roy played the role of 'Mr. Bajaj' in original 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' also featuring Shweta Tiwari and Cezanne Khan in lead roles. His performances and chemistry with Shweta (Prerna) made his role of 'Mr. Bajaj' iconic.
