TV actress Hina Khan, who became a household name as 'Akshara' from 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', is currently winning hearts with her performance as evil 'Komolika' in Ekta Kapoor's reboot of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' also featuring Parth Samthaan & Erica Fernandes in lead roles. As revealed earlier, Hina Khan will not be seen in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' post April due to her film commitments. Hina Khan, who is already shot for her debut film 'Lines', will soon star work on her second film. And now, few details about Hina's second film are out.

According to an entertainment portal, Hina Khan's second film will be directed by Bollywood's known filmmaker Vikram Bhatt.

Yes, you read that right!

Speaking about the same, a source told Bollywood Life that, "Vikram has signed Hina, and it is going to be a women-centric movie."

Said to be helmed by Zee Studios, the film's makers are yet to finalize the other cast members. "That is the reason why the movie which was expected to go on floors from March 2019 is seeing a delay," the source added.

However, Hina Khan & Vikram Bhatt are yet to react on the same.

For the uninitiated, Vikram Bhatt has been a part of Bollywood since a long time and is known for directing hits like 'Ghulam', 'Raaz', 'Awaara Paagal Deewana', '1920', 'Haunted', 'Raaz 3' among others. Vikram Bhatt last directed '1921' featuring Zareen Khan and Karan Kundrra in lead roles.

Speaking about Hina Khan's debut film, the story of 'Lines' is set in Kashmir in the 90s. Veteran actress Farida Jalal will play Hina's grandmother whereas Rishi Bhutani will romance the TV actress in the women-centric film.

After a successful TV stint, Hina is finally entering Bollywood and this is indeed a great news. But, her fans are surely going to miss seeing her as 'Komolika' in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay'. Recently, there were reports that popular TV actresses Anita Hassanandani, Krystle D'Souza and Aalisha Panwar are in contention to replace Hina as 'Komolika' in the Star Plus show. However, nothing is confirmed as of now.
