Ekta Kapoor's reboot of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', featuring Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Karan Singh Grover in lead roles, is one of the most loved daily soaps on Indian Television currently. However, the show has been witnessing a slight dip in TRP since last few weeks. As per the latest buzz, the makers of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' are planning to bring back 'Komolika' to spice up the drama. However, there's bad news for Hina Khan's fans. Hina Khan aka 'Komolika', who quit the show to fulfill her film commitments, is reportedly not returning and the makers are in search of another actress to replace her.

Yes, you read that right!

Speaking about the same, a source told an entertainment portal that, "The writers are bringing back Komolika who will be joining hands with Mr Bajaj (played by Karan Singh Grover) this time."

Reportedly, names of popular actresses like Ragini Khanna, Madhurima Tuli, Riddhi Dogra, Sanaya Irani, Disha Parmar among others were suggested to show's producer Ekta Kapoor however she only liked one of them.

Revealing the same, the source further told Bollywood Life that, "Ekta Kapoor only liked Sanaya Irani, but the actress was not keen to play the character."

The report further stated that, Jasmin Bhasin (last seen in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji) is in final talks to replace Hina Khan as 'Komolika' in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' but"nothing is finalized as of now." But, it is confirmed that Hina Khan will not be seen playing 'Komolika' now.

Ekta, Hina and Jasmin are yet to react on the same. However, if this turns out to be true then the fans are surely going to miss Hina Khan as 'Komolika'.

As per the latest track, Prerna (Erica) is now married to Mr. Bajaj (Karan) and their love story will soon begin in the much-loved Star Plus show. Whereas, Anurag (Parth) is not ready to give up on Prerna and is trying to separate her and Mr. Bajaj. Now, it'll be interesting to see how story of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' will unfold after the return of 'Komolika'.

Coming back to Hina Khan, the actress is all set to enter Bollywood very soon. After completing shooting for 'Lines', 'Wish List' and an International project, Hina Khan finally started shooting for Vikram Bhatt's much-awaited film 'Hacked' from last month.
