Fans have been eagerly waiting to see who will play the role of new Mr. Rishabh Bajaj ever since Ekta Kapoor announced that the hunt for the actor playing the character has started.

Popular TV celebs including Siddharth Shukla, Karan Wahi, Iqbal Khan and Hiten Tejwani were in contention to play the role of Mr. Bajaj in ‘Kasautii 2’. It was even said that Karan Wahi has bagged the role; however, new reports suggested that Karan Singh Grover has been finalized to play the iconic character.
Now, a report in an entertainment portal has suggested that Kasautii’s original Mr. Bajaj was Ekta Kapoor’s first choice to play the role of Mr. Bajaj. The TV czarina reportedly wanted the actor to reprise his role again.
Ronit's Roy age is close to what Mr Bajaj's age is ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ and therefore, Ekta Kapoor really wanted him to play the role once again. The actor was keen to reprise his role but he couldn’t give his nod because of his prior work commitments including a movie, the report in Pinkvilla.
However, when another entertainment portal contacted Ronit Roy, the ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ actor denied being approached for the show.
"Gosh, why didn't anybody call me before publishing this. But listen, did they mix me up with my brother, Rohit? It is certainly not true," Ronit told SpotboyE.
It seems we have to wait for some time to see which actor is playing the role of Mr. Bajaj in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’.
