Parth, while talking to an entertainment portal, confirmed that his second test result is negative. The actor is reportedly in no hurry to resume shooting for ‘Kasautii 2’.
"Yes it’s true, reports have come and it’s negative," Parth told Pinkvilla.
The TV heartthrob had shared a post on social media to inform his fans that he was infected with the virus. He also thanked the BMC for their support and requested the people, who came in contact with him in the last few days, to take a COVID-19 test.
"Hi everyone, I have been tested Positive for COVID 19 .although I have mild symptoms.. I would urge and request everyone who's been with me in close proximity over the last few days please go and get yourself tested. The BMC has regularly been in touch and with the doctor's guidance I am in self-quarantine and I am grateful to them for all their support. Please be safe and take care"
Several TV celebs including Hina Khan, Niti Taylor and Arjun had commented on his post to wish him a speedy recovery.
The shooting for ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ was immediately stopped after Parth’s test reports came out as positive. The makers requested the cast and crew to undergo a COVID-19 test.
The likes of Erica Fernandes, Karan Patel, Pooja Banerjee and Shubhaavi Choksey resumed shooting after they tested negative for Coronavirus.

The creative team has tweaked the show’s storyline in Parth’s absence. The actor had shot for few episodes before his diagnosis. The makers showed that Anurag Basu is out on a business trip.
‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, which is one of the most popular shows on Indian television, recently saw the entry of Karan Patel as new Mr. Bajaj. The ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ actor created a lot of buzz with his new avatar.
