New Delhi: Popular TV actress Aamna Sharif has managed to win the hearts of the viewers with her power-packed performance in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. The small screen diva replaced Hina Khan as the new Komolika in the romantic saga starring Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan in lead roles. Fans were quite skeptical when Ekta announced that Aamna will play the role of the main vamp Komolika in the show. The talented actress surpassed all the expectations with her acting chops.

Aamna, who plays a baddie in ‘Kasautii 2’, is a doting mommy to her son Arain in real life. Her son turned a year older on September 2. The ‘Hongey Judaa Na Hum’ actress took to social media to share a heartfelt post for Arain on his special day. She also posted an adorable family photo in which her hubby can be seen kissing their munchkin.

“Can’t believe our little ball of sunshine has turned 5 already ???? Wish I could make the time stop to take it all in! Happy birthday, my little jaan arain. You’re such a blessing in our lives!!,” the caption for the post read.

Several TV celebs including Arjun Bijlani, Mahhi Vij, Karanvir Bohra dropped comments on the post and wished the birthday boy. Aamna's 'Kasautii 2' co-star Pooja Banerjee aka Nivedita Basu wrote,"Awwyeeeee happiest birthday Aaroooo. we love you."

Aamna Sharif tied the knot with distributor-turned producer Amit Kapoor on December 27, 2013. The actress made her acting debut with 'Kahiin to Hoga' opposite Rajeev Khandelwal. The show is still popular for Aamna and Rajeev's chemistry.



Talking about 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2', the show has been hogging limelight ever since the reports of Parth Samthaan leaving 'KZK 2' hit the internet. Speculations are rife that the show will get a new time slot after the launch of 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2' on Star Plus.
