When an entertainment portal asked Asmita about the show, she said, "Honestly, I have no idea about this. I was in talks with the production house, but it has been a while, since we have communicated. Till I know, things were looking good, but it has been a while since a conversation happened."
On being asked about Karishma replacing her in the show, she further said that, "Again, I don't know anything about this. But if that is the case, I wish her all the best."

Karishma confirmed the news of being in talks for the show. Speaking about the same, she told India Forums that, "I don't anything about if I am replacing someone or not. But yes, I am in talks, but things haven't finalised yet."
Seen in various south films, Asmita made her TV debut with 'Star Plus' show 'Phir Bhi Na Maane...Badtameez Dil' opposite alleged ex-beau Pearl V Puri. She has been away from TV ever since the show went off-air in November, 2015. Seems like her fans have to wait a little longer to see her on TV again.
