Sumona Chakravarti, best known for playing the role of Kapil Sharma's on-screen wife in his famous comedy shows, is now all set to participate in the adventure reality show 'Khatron Ke Khiladi'.

All set for the 14th season, Chakravarti will be joining the show months after quitting Kapil's show.

'Khatron Ke Khiladi' will mark Sumona's first stint ever since she called it quits at Kapil Sharma's comedy shows. In a statement, Sumona shared her excitemet of being part of the adventure reality show hosted by filmmaker producer Rohit Shetty.
“When I was approached for the new season of Khatron Ke Khiladi, I thought it was some sort of prank, but as the reality sank in, and the offer was confirmed, I was excited. I’m thrilled about the show taking its daredevilry to a new country. I am ready to push my boundaries & re-awaken the adrenaline junkie in me under the mentorship of the ultimate action king Rohit Shetty sir,” Sumona said in the statement.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shinde, Gashmeer Mahajani and Kedar Aashish Mehrotra will also be seen in the reality show. Their participation has also been confirmed.
In a statement, Shinde, who will be making a comeback to TV with KKK 14, said, "I’m ready to give Khatron Ke Khiladi everything I’ve got. It is an honour to have the opportunity to learn from the incredible action guru Rohit Shetty sir himself. I’m excited about exploring and breaking the physical and mental barriers that have held me back until now. This is more than just a show – it’s a life-changing experience that is known to make its contestants braver. For me, this show is about making my fans proud of me.”
Other confirmed contestant list includes Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Asim RIaz, Krishna Shroff, Shalin Bhanot and Abhishek Kumar.
Interestingly, several confirmed contestants have also been seen on the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’.
