Popular comedian & actor  Kapil Sharma, who is set for his comeback with the second season of 'The Kapil Sharma Show', got married to longtime girlfriend Ginni Chatrath in a Hindu ceremony on 12th December. Next day, on 13th December, the couple tied the knot in an Anand Karaj ceremony. Recently, on 24th December), Kapil & Ginni hosted their second reception for their industry friends at JW Marriott, Mumbai. Many known names from Film & TV industry attended the wedding reception however Kapil's ex-colleague Sunil Grover gave it a miss. Now, the reason behind Sunil skipping Kapil Sharma's reception has been revealed.

Well, Sunil Grover missed the reception of his 'Comedy Nights With Kapil' and 'The Kapil Sharma Show' co-star because of Katrina Kaif. Yes, you read that right!

On the same day of Kapil's Mumbai reception, Katrina Kaif hosted a Christmas bash and her 'Bharat' co-star Sunil Grover was seen attending her party. Take a look at a picture of Sunil snapped out Katrina's house:


However, Sunil Grover is yet to react on the same.

While talking to media, few days before Kapil Sharma's wedding, Sunil had confirmed that he will be attending the comedian's Mumbai wedding reception but he chose to miss it making his fans sad.

For the uninitiated, Kapil & Sunil were thick buddies but their friendship turned sour after the infamous mid-air fight in 2017. Ever since then, their fans are waiting for their reunion & they now have to wait a little longer.

Speaking about Kapil & Ginni's Mumbai reception, big names like Ranveer-Deepika, Dharmendra, Jeetendra, Jay-Mahhi, Saina Nehwal, Bharti Singh, Krushna among others attended the bash making it a star-studded affair.
