Shweta and Rahul got hitched according to Bengali and Marwari rituals. The couple hosted a wedding reception for their industry friends. Ishaan Khatter, Sakshi Tanwar, Vishal Bharadwaj and other TV & Bollywood celebs attended the reception party.

The talented actress, who played the role of princess Nandini in Star Plus’ ‘Chandra Nandini’ opposite Rajat Tokas, was last seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s ‘Tashkent Files’, which released earlier this year. Shweta shot to fame as a child artist with the film ‘Makdee’, which got her a National Award for Best Child Artist.

Shweta also essayed the role of Shruti in Sakshi Tanwar and Kiran Karmarkar starrer ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki’ on Star Plus.
