The national award winning actress Shweta Basu Prasad who was last seen in Star Plus show 'Chandra Nandini' tied the knot with filmmaker beau Rohit Mittal on December 13th in Pune and the two hosted their Wedding Reception in Mumbai on Thursday, the same day Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas hosted their third marriage reception which was for the Bollywood friends. Shweta and Rohit seem to have kept it a little private as we spot only a handful of celebs in the pictures the new bride shared on her Instagram page.
This included Shweta's 'Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii' co-star Sakshi Tanwar, her debut 2002 film 'Makdee' director Vishal Bhardwaj(film that got her a national award) and few others like Chetan Hansraj(currently seen in 'Naagin 3'), Tanu Khan, Papia Sengupta and Saanvi Malhotra. Ishaan Khatter was also present at the event.

Sakshi aka 'parvati' had played Shweta aka 'Shruti's mom on Star Plus show in 2002. Sakshi had also come out in support of Shweta back in 2014 when the former unfortunately got into deep trouble.
