Parineeta Borthakur: I celebrate lord' birthday at home with faithful devotion. I fast on that day, and make dinner prasad, which I offer to my Krishna then serve everyone at home. I buy new clothes for my Krishna and decorate his 'jhoola.' I also make a birthday cake for him which I cut at 12pm singing 'Happy birthday'. I don't know the rituals, but I do everything with all my Love.
Soni Singh: We all love celebrating Birthdays and when It is our favorite Lord Krishna Birthday, it has to be special. Janamashtami celebrations are not limited to fasting and then feasting at night. We can much more do to celebrate the day. I use to earlier dress my niece like baby gopal and now we have nephew at our home how is really very adorable and its his first Janamashtami so I'm gonna make him lord Krishna.
