New Delhi: After Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has supported Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decision to demonetise Rs 1,000 and Rs 500 notes.
Starting the weekend episode of popular Indian television reality show 'Bigg Boss 10', Salman said, "Iss hafte kaale dhan par dhanaadan vaar padi. It is a fantastic move and hats off to Modi ji.

Interacting with BB 10 contestants, the 'Dabangg' actor said, "Mere khud ke 4 hazar ke note aur six, 500 ke notes atak gaye hai kyunki main Hong Kong mein tha... par koi baat nahi.. main agle do-teen din mein bank jaake cash karwa loonga. (Even I am facing problem, I was in Hong Kong when the policy was announced. I have Four thousand notes and Six 500 notes, they are of no use now but it doesn't matter. I will go to the bank in next 2-3 days to en-cash them)."
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 8 announced that high denomination notes of Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 will no longer be legal tender to fight against black money and corruption.
Ever since the announcement broke, people have been rushing to banks and ATMs to procure Rs 100 and new currency notes, while woes is compounding each day with cash running dry in ATMs and long queues.
