TV actor Barun Sobti, who became a household name after playing the lead role of 'Arnav Singh Raizada' in Gul Khan's much-loved Star Plus show 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?' opposite Sanaya Irani, is super-happy these days as he is all set to be a father. Yes, you read that right! Barun Sobti's wife Pashmeen Manchanda is expecting their first child. Seems like, Pashmeen's baby shower bash was held recently and few pictures from the same are going viral in which she is proudly flaunting her baby bump.

In the pictures, Barun and Pashmeen are beaming with joy and can be seen wearing badges with ‘father-to-be’ and ‘mother-to-be’ written on them. Various TV celebrities like Sai Deodhar, Karan Wahi, Akshay Dogra among others attended the bash and posted various pictures on social media.

Sai Deodhar, who played Barun's sister-in-law in Sony TV's 'Baat Hamari Pakki Hai', posted few pictures from the bash on Instagram with the caption, "Congratulations love u pashmin n barun!!! #barunsobti"

'Laila Majnu' fame Avinash Tiwary too posted a picture of Barun and Pashmeen from the bash as his Instagram story and wrote, "Mere Bhai... All the happiness to you and Pashmeen. May this glow stays forever."

He further added, "Also now that you are a 'Dad to be'... I request all the ladies queuing up for your attention to leave you alone... P. S. I am single.."

However, Barun & Pashmeen have not yet declared the good news officially.

On a related note, Barun got married to Pashmeen on 12th December 2010.

On the professional front, Barun made his TV debut with Star Plus show 'Shraddha' and went on to feature in 'Dill Mill Gayye' and 'Baat Hamari Pakki Hai'. His hit show 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon' made him a top TV star. 'Iss Pyaar Ko...' went off-air after a decent run of one and a half years as Barun quit the show to pursue career in film. He made his Bollywood debut with 2014 film 'Main Aur Mr. Right'. Since then, he is juggling between films, TV and digital shows.
