Star Plus show 'Ishqbaaz' is one of the most stylish & talked-about shows on Indian Television. Every character from the show hugely popular & are loved by their fans. Actor Nikitin Dheer entered the show in December last year as antagonist 'Veer Pratap Chauhan' and his villainous antics got appreciation from the viewers. His role was supposed to be on the show for a little over a month but got extended due to character's popularity & increase in TRPs. Now, after a fruitful journey, his character is finally bidding goodbye to 'Ishqbaaz'.

The 'Chennai Express' actor wrote a long post on Instagram thanking the 'Ishqbaaaz' team and fans for the love showered on him. He wrote, "It's that time..time to say goodbye to Veer Pratap Chauhan..a cameo that was intended for a little over a month..but your love carried it for so long at made it a full fledged role..u hated him first then started to love him..I have been very fortunate to have worked with some amazing people & this one has been truly special..the cast..the crew..special..each and every one of them..shall miss them all..I carry u all with me in my heart..and to YOU..yes YOU..thank you..for the immense love for Veer..pls don't stop with ur LOVE.."

Happily married to TV actress Kratika Sengar, Nikitin has been a part of various films as well as TV shows. He made his Bollywood debut with Hrithik-Aishwarya starrer 'Jodh Akbar' & is best known as 'Thangabali' from SRK-Deepika starrer 'Chennai Express'. On the TV front, he has been a part of shows like 'Khatron Ke Khiladi 5' and 'Nagarjuna-Ek Yoddha'.
