Much-loved Star Plus show 'Ishqbaaaz', which went on-air in June 2016, recently went through a generation leap. Post which, the show's story revolves around Shivaay & Anika's son Shivaansh. Apart from Nakuul Mehta, who is playing the son of his won character Shivaay, other lead actors including Surbhi Chandna, Kunal Jaisingh, Shrenu Parikh, Leenesh Mattoo and Mansi Srivastava are no more a part of the show. Whereas, Manjiri Pupala has entered the show as Shivaansh's love interest and is playing the role of ACP Aditi Deshmukh. 'Ishqbaaaz' is now set to witness a new entry to make the show more interesting and entertaining.

According to latest reports, Shivaansh's brother is set to be introduced in 'Ishqbaaaz' and the makers have already finalized the actor to play the important character.

Reportedly TV actor Abhishek Singh Pathania, who was also seen as a contestant in MTV's popular reality show 'Splitsvilla 9', has been finalized to play Nakuul Mehta's younger brother in 'Ishqbaaaz'.

However, it is yet to get confirmed! But, is it is true then, it has to be seen if the viewers will accept Abhishek as new 'Oberoi' brother after Kunal & Leenesh's exit.

On the career front, Abhishek Singh Pathania has also been a part of TV shows like 'Gangaa' and 'Mere Angne Mein' apart from 'MTV Splitsvilla 9'.
