'Ishqbaaaz' Actress Additi Gupta Tests Positive For Coronavirus, Says 'I Will Quarantine Myself For Next 10 More Days'

Popular TV actress Additi Gupta said that she chose to quarantine herself after she started showing Coronavirus symptoms.

New Delhi: Popular TV actress Additi Gupta, last seen in ‘Kaal Bhairav Rahasya 2’, has recently tested positive for Coronavirus. The talented actress, who played the role of Ragini Malhotra in Star Plus’ ‘Ishqbaaaz’, revealed that she isolated herself in her room after she started showing COVID-19 symptoms. Additi, while talking to an entertainment portal, said that she got herself tested for the virus after she lost her smelling sense. The reports came out positive and I chose to quarantine myself at home since I was an asymptomatic. It’s been 7 to 8 days that I have confined myself in a room,” Additi told Tellychakkar. The ‘Qubool Hai’ actress further revealed that she will quarantine herself for the next 10 days. She said that her husband Kabir Chopra and her family members are supporting her during the quarantined phase. “I have great support of my husband, family and friends. They are constantly keeping a check on me. Now, I have partially got my smelling sense back. I will quarantine myself for the next 10 more days. I am eating well and taking proper medication. I would like to say don’t panic but honestly it is not really a great thing to have. I was a bit stressed initially but with the proper medication and positive approach you will be fine,” she told the portal.
Additi Gupta tied the knot with Kabir Chopra in December 2018 in the presence of their loved ones. Drashti Dhami, Anita Hassanandani, Kritika Kamra and other TV celebs attended her wedding.
On the professional front, Additi will be next seen in Star Plus’ ‘Anupamaa’. The show will star Rupali Ganguly and Sudhanshu Pandey in lead roles. The actress made her TV debut with ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil’ in 2008. Her sizzling chemistry with Harshad Chopda was quite a hit among the viewers. Additi has also acted in shows like 'Badalte Rishton Ki Dastaan', 'Zindagi Kahe-Smile Please' and 'Pardes Mein Hein Mera Dil', to name a few. ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress Mohena Kumari Singh took to social media to reveal that she has tested negative for COVID-19 after a month.
