Comedian Kunal Kamra tagged Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and Mumbai Police while sharing the video and tweeted,"Calling for open violence is a crime. This is a mob building & hate spreading excercise. This is deeply alarming. Could lead to violence & an artist not getting due process."

Hindustani Bhau had filed an FIR against Ekta Kapoor and her mother for the inappropriate portrayal of the Indian Army in her web series ‘XXX: Uncensored 2’. The TV Czarina deleted the controversial scene from the episode after it landed the makers in a spot.
