Popular TV actor & 'Bigg Boss 11' contestant Hiten Tejwani is away from the small-screen ever since the reality show went off-air in January this year. Last month, there were reports that Hiten is all set to be back on TV with SAB TV's upcoming comedy oppoiste 'Balika Vadhu' fame Toral Rasputra. But here comes a bad news for the 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' actor! According to latest reports, Hiten Tejwani, who was all kicked for his first stint in comedy, is no more a part of the show.

Reportedly, Hiten Tejwani is now out of the project as things couldn't work out between the actor & the production house.

Hiten opened up about the same and told HT that, "I had done a comedy play post the reality show Bigg Boss and really enjoyed myself. So, I thought doing a comedy show would be interesting. I have not been informed but I heard that they have chosen another guy. I had a word with creative director Swapna Waghmare, who said they want someone who looks a bit gareeb. I didn’t look poor (laughs). I am not interested in the same kind of roles as people have seen me in every possible kind of positive roles in serials. I keep getting offers for TV dramas but I don’t want to pick something and in a few months feel dissatisfied with it. I want to attempt different genres, which is why I wanted to try comedy."

'BB11' contestant & TV's chocolate boy Hiten Tejwani's latest photo-shoot will leave you jaw-dropped!

The show's makers are now looking for Hiten's replacement & TV actor Kunal Kumar has reportedly been approached for the same. But nothing is confirmed as of now.

For the uninitiated, Kunal has been a part of various SAB TV shows like 'Gutur Gu' and 'Khidki'. 'Gutur Gu' was India's first silent comedy series in which Kunal replaced Sunil Grover as male lead. He has also played small roles in Bollywood films like Main Hoon Naa (2004), Bunty aur Babli (2005) among others.
