But we were unaware that the cult-favorite television show had a connection to another classic, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai'. The characters of the show can be seen discussing the most recent film starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol in one of the episodes.
There has been much debate about how Shah Rukh Khan's character Rahul is ultimately won over by the makeover of Anjali into a feminine woman. The story has received a lot of criticism for feeding sexist stereotypes about women. Recently, an old episode clip of the show that was years ahead of its time has gone viral, where the characters could be seen spitting facts about the film.
