Mumbai: Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt's "Hacked" with popular TV actress Hina Khan has been wrapped up and the makers have finally announced the release date. The film will hit the silver screens on January 31, 2020. The thriller explores the dark side of the digital and the social media world. The film throws light on cyber crime and shows how putting out everything there on the web can be dangerous. Hina Khan, who was last seen as Komolika in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2', will be seen in a glamorous avatar as an editor of a fashion magazine in 'Hacked'.

Vikram Bhatt took to Instagram to share several stills from the film and also announce the release date of 'Hacked'. He wrote, ''When you live on the internet, just a plug needs to be pulled... "'Hacked' is about the perils of our online lives and talks about how in today's time everything about everyone is just a click away, nothing remains exclusive or private," said the filmmaker.

Hina Khan also shared a still from the film on Twitter and Instagram. ''The thought of someone intruding on my privacy gives me goosebumps. Here's presenting a still from my debut film #Hacked, directed by @vikrampbhatt . In cinemas from 31st January 2020,'' the Kashmiri beauty wrote.

"Hacked" directed by Bhatt, is presented by Loneranger Productions and produced by Amar P. Thakkar and Krishna Bhatt. The film also stars Rohan Shah, Mohit Malhotra and Sid Makkar.

Hina, who was part of one of the longest running TV shows on Indian television 'Yeh Rishta Kya Khelata Hai',  will also be seen in 'Lines', 'Wish List' and 'The Country Of Blind'. The 'Bigg Boss 11' contestant walked the red carpet of Cannes 2019 earlier this year. She had unveiled the first look of her film 'Lines' at the film festival.
