Mumbai: Harshad Arora, who has become a known name in the world of television, says he doesn’t believe in restricting himself to any medium, and is willing to explore Bollywood. But only with “a great script”.
Harshad is currently seen in Star Plus' show “Dahleez”.
“I consider myself an artiste. I don’t believe in the concept of movies versus television or even theatre for that matter. I never differentiate among the mediums. For me, it’s all the same," Harshad said in a statement.
"I concentrate more on the script and my character. I am open to any kind of audio visual medium as long as it helps me grow as an actor. I was offered some movies but I decided to let it pass because of the weak scripts,” he added.
Harshad, who has also featured in “Beintehaa”, shares he “would love to work in Bollywood but awaiting the right opportunity.”
“However, when 'Dahleez' came my way I couldn’t let it go as the story was so strong, I connected with the show and my character immediately,” he added.
Harshad plays the role of a IPS officer in the show, which is set in Delhi and is the story of two individuals -- Swadheenta, a young aspiring lawyer.
