New Delhi: Television celebrity couple Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar posted an adorable photo on social media to reveal they are expecting a child. The pair shared a photo on Instagram on Sunday, saying it is the "most beautiful phase" of their lives.
In the picture shared by the couple, the actors are seen in the picture sitting outside with their backs to the camera. Shoaib and Dipika were both dressed in white; she wore a dress and he wore a white shirt and jeans. They rested their heads close to each other, both of them with their caps backward. The words "mom-to-be" were inscribed on Dipika's cap, while "dad-to-be" was written on Shoaib's cap.
"Sharing this news with you all with our hearts full of gratitude, happiness, excitement and also nervousness. Humari life ka ye sabse khoobsurat phase hai (This is the most beautiful phase of our lives)… Yessss we are expecting our first child!! Going to embrace parenthood soon… Aapki dher saari duaon aur pyaar ki zaroorat hai (We need a lot of your prayers and love) for our little one," the caption read.
Actor Gauhar Khan posted a message of congratulations for the couple along with many of their fans. "May Allah bless u both on this new journey. Ameen," she wrote in the comment section.
On the 'Sasural Simar Ka' set, Dipika and Shoaib met and grew close to one another before they began dating. In 2018, the couple got hitched in a private ceremony. The two responded to the rumours of her pregnancy in 2021. Dipika was asked if they were expecting a child during the opening of a sweet shop. She sarcastically refuted the rumours.
