It was even said that Giaa and Ankit are spending quality time with each other. For the uninitiated, the two TV stars met each other on the sets of a photo shoot for Nivedita Basu’s NGO Pehla Kadam. Their sizzling chemistry impressed the fans and after the photo shoot, they were even spotted together at several places.

Giaa, while talking to a leading daily, denied the reports of the two dating each other. She even said that she is single for the past five years.

“It was quite a bold photoshoot and I guess that’s why people started talking. I met Ankit on the set and we bonded really well. Our chemistry was good. I don’t deny that he is a good friend and we do hang out at times, but there is nothing more to it. There is no love happening. I am single and I have not been in love for the last five years,” The 'Jeannie Aur Juju' actress told TOI.

Giaa won millions of hearts as Gopi Bahu in ‘Saathiya’. However, the actress was replaced by Devoleena Bhattacharjee after she decided to participate in ‘Jhalak Dikh Laja 5’. Some of her last projects didn’t do quite well on the ratings front but the actress has a different take on it.

“After 'Saathiya', I was part of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and then I played a fairy on Jeannie Aur Juju. My work on these shows helped me land three shows in Indonesia. I was busy with them and so, I was not seen here. People then assumed that I am not getting any work here, which is not true. Also, every project can’t be a blockbuster like 'Saathiya'. I can’t be so greedy in life,” Giaa further told TOI.
