TV  couple Gautam Rode & Pankhuri Awasthy finally tied the knot in a grand ceremony on 5th February this year. Ever since then, the couple is enjoying the marital bliss & is spending time with each other. Today (13th September), the whole nation is celebrating the festival of 'Ganesha Chaturthi' when the devotees of Lord Ganesha welcome him into their homes & seek blessings. The festival marks the birth of Lord Ganesha & Gautam-Pankhuri too celebrated their first 'Ganesh Chaturthi' together post-wedding. The much-in-love couple welcomed 'bappa' home on the special day to seek blessings from him.

Gautam Rode posted pictures on his Instagram account in which he is seeking blessings from 'bappa' with wife Pankhuri. He captioned the pictures as, "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi friends???? Ganpati Bappa Morya ????????"

Speaking about Pankhuri & Gautam's love story, they met on the sets of their TV show 'Suryaputra Karn' and fell for each other. Interestingly 41-year-old Gautam is around 15 years older to Pankhuri who is in her early twenties, however the huge age gap was never a hurdle between them & they are happily married now.

On the career front, Pankhuri has been a part of various popular shows like 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui', 'MTV Fanaah', 'Suryaputra Karan' among others & became a household name after playing the lead role of 'Amala' in Star Plus show 'Kya Qusoor Hai Amala Ka'. Post her wedding, she was recently seen in an episodic of 'Colors' horror show 'Kaun Hai?'.

Whereas, Gautam has been a part of various popular TV shows like 'Baa, Bahu aur Baby', 'Parichay' & rose to fame after playing the lead role in 'Saraswatichandra' opposite Jennifer Winget. After which he went on to feature in shows like 'Mahakumbh' & 'Suryaputra Karn'. He was last seen playing one of the lead roles in Bollywood film 'Aksar 2' opposite Zarine Khan. Gautam is reportedly all set to be back on TV & will play the lead role in the second season of popular 'Star Bharat' show 'Kaal Bhairav Rahasya' opposite Additi Gupta.
