When Michael Jackson knocked at Amitabh Bachchan's door

Big B shared a fascinating memory involving pop icon Michael Jackson when the pop star accidentally knocked the actor’s room. He recalled, “I was staying at a hotel in New York when, one day, I heard a knock at my door. When I opened it, I was stunned to see Michael Jackson standing outside. I almost fainted but managed to keep my composure. I greeted him, and he inquired if this was my room. When I confirmed it, he realised he had mistakenly come to the wrong room.”

Amitabh continued, "Later after he went to his correct room, he sent someone over to reach out to me. We eventually got to sit down and chat. Despite his massive fame, he was incredibly down-to-earth. That’s how our first meeting happened."

When Amitabh Bachchan gave an apt reply to London shopkeeper

In one of the episodes, Bachchan opened up about a sharp response he once gave to a sarcastic shopkeeper in London.

A contestant asked Bachchan whether he checks price tags while shopping. In response, the legendary actor shared that it's common to check prices before making a purchase. He then recounted an incident from a visit to London. "We were browsing in a store, and I happened to be looking at a tie when the shopkeeper, in a condescending tone, informed me that it cost 120 pounds," he recalled.

Bachchan continued, "I looked him straight in the eye and said, ‘Pack ten of these for me.’ Moments like that remind us to stand tall and represent our Indian pride, even in the face of arrogance. It’s important to make it clear that we are not to be underestimated.."

When Big B shared about his marks in BSc

Amitabh, an alumnus of Kirori Mal College at the University of Delhi, shared candidly about his experience with the subject. "I did BSc without even knowing what it was," he admitted, adding, "I scored well in Science, so I applied for it."

The megastar humorously recalled the moment he realised he had made a mistake by choosing this field of study. "In just 45 minutes, what I had heard about the scope in science for 10 years changed everything," he said, referring to his first lecture in the course.

Reflecting on his struggles, Amitabh revealed, "The first time I took the exam, I failed. When I reattempted, I somehow managed to score 42 percent. That saved me."

Amitabh Bachchan shared a funny story about his unsuccessful efforts to get rid of cockroaches. He humorously remarked, "They just don't die," as he recalled trapping a cockroach in a bottle filled with insecticide powder. A week later, to his shock, the cockroach emerged from the bottle, completely unharmed. His light-hearted tale had both the audience and the contestant in fits of laughter.

When asked about his college days

A contestant asked Big B about his college days and asked if he used to visit Lady Shri Ram College for Women, Kamala Nehru College, Delhi. Amitabh studied at north campus's Kirori Mal College.

The actor replied, "Dekhiye devi ji ki kya hai ki ab hum shadi-shuda ho gaye hai, aur nati-pota bhi ho gaye hai. Ab woh zamana jo tha wo jawani ka zamana tha, hai na? Uske bare mein aapko kya bataye? Abhi batane se humari poori pole khul jayegi. Aur yeh sarwajanik karyakaram hai, log thoda sa phir sochenge 'Acha aisa tha woh?' Humara impression kharab ho jayega (I am now married and have grandkids too. Those were the days of my youth, if I share all this now, my image will suffer as this is a family show. People will pass comments about me)."
