Active in Television industry for two decades, Gautam Rode at 40 still gives tough competition to the current hunks and he nailed his lead role appearances in 'Maha Kumbh', 'Saraswatichandra' and the latest 'Suryaputra Karn'.

The hot bodied actor is appearing in a short film soon which is based on freedom fighter Bhagat Singh and the actor left no stone unturned in looking the part.

We already saw his full bearded avatar a few days back and now his first look as a Sikh is out where he dons a pagdi and sports a beard wearing khaki pant and shirt in the role of Bhagat Singh.

Gautam shared the picture on Instagram and wrote with it - "15 years to #TheLegendofBhagatSingh! Excited to show my version to you all! 😇"

The good looking hunk nails the Bhagat Singh look but according to the actor it wasn't easy to get into this avatar. It took him 45 days to grow that beard.

Gautam told HT in an interview - "I didn’t want to wear an artificial beard for the role. I had the time to grow a beard, so I went ahead with it. I have always donned different looks going with the requirement of the roles I played."

This look is however only one part of his role in the short film. Gautam will be seen playing double role and the other one is of a young punjabi boy.

Donning a nomral good boy look in 'Saraswatichandra' opposite Jennifer Winget, Gautam had undergone transformation for his next which was a supernatural mytho-thriller, having a crew cut hairstyle, gaining weight and wearing tan on body for 'Maha Kumbh: Ek Rahasaya Ek Kahani'.
