Continues saying... "So, I rushed out, and was shocked to see fire in the passage. There were huge flames and smoke reaching inside the house. Fortunately, our neighbour helped us diffuse it by using blankets and kitchen napkins. Bhakhtyar was a real-life hero; he managed to bring the fire down after working relentlessly for 45 minutes. Thankfully, the fire brigade and police also came in time.”
The accident took place after the main junction box installed outside the passage blew up. Fortunately, timely intervention averted a major tragedy -further details given by Bombay Times read.
The actress adds in interview with the daily, “This has been a big lesson for us. Every home should have a fire extinguisher. Now, we don’t have power supply, and I have sent the kids and dog to my mother-in-law’s home, which is close by, to catch up on some sleep.”
And while everyone loves to fool everyone else on April 1, it was unfortunate for Tanaaz and Bakhtyar for the incident to have happened on April Fool's day since no one believed them. Tannaz also shares - “Given that the incident took place on April 1, many people thought that we were fooling them. Finally, when they realised that we were speaking the truth, they were shocked.”
Tanaaz and Bakhtyar got married in 2007 and their first child, son Zeus was born on 20th March 2008. The daughter they named Zara was born 3 years later on September 19th, 2011. Tannaz also has a daughter from her previous marriage with Farid Currim. Her daughter Zianne stays with her ex-husband.
