Mumbai: Popular contemporary dancer Shakti Mohan, who will be seen as a guest on the children singing reality show "The Voice India Kids", says every girl has to struggle from childhood.
Shakti will be seen on the 'Family Special' episode of the show to support her sister and singer Neeti Mohan, who appears as coach on "The Voice India Kids" alongside Shaan and Shekhar Ravjiani.
Shakti was delighted to see the majority of female contestants on the show, besides just one male contestant. "Every girl has a struggle right from childhood as people keep saying, 'Don't sit like a girl' or 'Don't walk like a girl'," Shakti said in a statement. "Today here on ‘The Voice India Kids', it's the first reality show which has so many female contestants. I am really happy to be here. India is changing and thoughts of the people are also changing," she added.
The show is aired on &TV.
