Elvish Yadav apologises to fans after hugging Munawar Faruqui
Elvish Yadav expressed regret to fans whose feelings had been offended and made it clear that his religion is the only thing that matters to him. “Sabse pahel jo bhi mere Hindu bhai hai, unn sabhi ko mere taraf se haath jod ke sorry hai ke aapko bura laga ke maine Munawar ko gale lagaya,” (First of all, all my Hindu brothers, I am sorry with folded hands that you felt bad that I hugged Munawar.)
Elvish continued in his vlog to clarify that he does not view Munawar as a brother or friend.
“Aap logo ne bola Elvish bhai ne galat kiya, hum maante hai maine galat kara. Apne Hindu dharam ke upar, apne Sanatan dharam ke upar hazaro Munawar Faruqui kurbaan hai. Usko main consider nahi karta apna dost ya bhai. On camera bol raha hu, mere liye mera dharam sabse upar hai. (You people said that Elvish Bhai committed a crime, we know that I committed a crime. For the sake of our Hindu Dharma, for our Sanatan Dharma, thousands of Munawar Faruqui have been sacrificed. I don't consider him as my friend or brother. I am saying on camera, for me my Dharma is the greatest reward).
Earlier this year, the 'Bigg Boss 17' title went to Munawar Faruqui who defeated Elvish Yadav and emerged as the winner of 'Bigg Boss OTT 2'.
Elvish Yadav often finds himself in many controversies. He gained notoriety a few days ago after reportedly hitting YouTuber Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern. His name also surfaced in the Noida snake poison case earlier.
