'I Felt Scared, Numb': Prachi Tehlan Files Complaint Against 4 Men For Chasing Her Car, Shares Horrifying Experience

Four men were arrested for allegedly chasing Diya Aur Baati Hum actress Prachi Tehlan's car on Monday night in Delhi.

The Delhi police officers arrested four men for allegedly chasing the car of Prachi Tehlan and abusing her in Delhi’s Rohini area, a report in PTI said. The popular TV actress, who is fondly known for playing the role of Arzoo in ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, alleged that the four men chased her vehicle and verbally abused her. The accused were arrested after she lodged a complaint against them on Tuesday (February 1).

Prachi took to her Instagram story to share a post after her harrowing experience. She revealed that the drunk men chased her vehicle and even attempted to barge into their house. The actress added that she filed a complaint against them immediately at a police station.

"Me and had a horrifying experience on the Ist Feb night. We were chased by 4 drunk boys till our apartment and they tried to barge into our house. I felt scared, numb. We were about to have an accident with a truck. We tried to avoid them as much as possible but they forcefully entered our society. I filed a complaint immediately at a nearby police station and they were taken into custody,” Prachi wrote.

“When will I feel safe in my own house? In my own city? Can't I freely go out and come back home in Delhi. This can happen to anyone. Boy/girl/couple/our parents. Can anyone get into my house and threaten me for no reason at all?” she added

“Am I supposed to let them go just because their parents cried in front of me? I am also someone's child. What if I would have got hurt in the entire process or would have been dead/raped/robbed? Have lot of questions but no answer,” Prachi further wrote. 

The men were in an inebriated state during the time of the incident, a police officer told PTI.
