New Delhi: Popular TV actress Deepika Singh Goyal, fondly known for her role in Star Plus’ ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’, took to social media to reveal that her mother had tested positive for Coronavirus. She shared a video message yesterday and said that hospital where her mother got tested didn’t give any report. The actress further said that the hospital only allowed her father to take a picture. She tagged Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and PMO India in her tweet and requested them for help.

“My mom & dad are in Delhi. Mom has been diagnosed with Covid positive & Lady Hardinge hospital didn’t give reports only allowed my father to click its picture. I really hope the concerned personell are reading this and my mom there receives some relief. @ArvindKejriwal @PMOIndia,” Deepika tweeted.



Deepika’s video went viral on social media and several fans flooded her posts with their messages. The talented actress said that she is currently in Mumbai and she can’t travel to Delhi because she has a small child.



Deepika has now shared a post on Instagram, thanking the Delhi government and health minister for their instant response. The actress informed that mother has been admitted to Sir Ganga Ram hospital in Delhi.

“Thank you to Delhi Govt & health minister for the immediate response to my tweet & video. Finally my mother got admission in Sir Gangaram hospital. Hoping for her speedy recovery,” Deepika wrote.



On the professional front, Deepika Singh was last seen in ‘Kawach Mahashivratri’ opposite Namik Paul. She shot to fame after playing the role of IPS officer Sandhya Rathi opposite Anas Rashid in ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’.
