TV star Anas Rashid, who is best known for playing the lead role of 'Sooraj Rathi' in Star Plus show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' opposite Deepika Singh, welcomed his first child in February last year. Anas' wife Heena Iqbal gave birth to a baby girl on 11th February, 2019 & the actor is busy spending quality time with daughter Aayat since then. Yesterday (February 11), the actor's baby girl turned one year old. On the special occasion, Aans & Heena hosted a grand birthday bash.


Anas took to his social media account today (February 12) and shared a video from Aayat's birthday bash. In the video, Anas & Heena are beaming with joy as they are seen cutting the cake with birthday girl Aayat. Posting the video on Instagram, Anas wrote, "Aayat is one year old now⭐️...Huge love,blessing and prayers, made this day fortunate, special ... it’s from all over ... God is so Great & merciful"

On a related note, Anas Rashid exchanged wedding vows with 14 years younger Heena in April 2017 and the couple is now busy nurturing their little munchkin.


On the career front, Anas Rashid made his TV debut with 'Kahiin Toh Hoga'. He rose to fame after playing the titular role in  'Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan' and became a household name after 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'. He was last seen in a cameo in 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' sequel 'Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh, Piyaji'.
