TV actor Anas Rashid, who is best known for playing the lead role of Sooraj Rathi in popular Star Plus show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' opposite Deepika Singh, is now a father. Yes, you read that right! Anas Rashid and wife Heena Iqbal are now a parents to a baby girl. Anas' wife Heena gave birth to their first child yesterday (11th February) and both mother and the newborn daughter are doing fine. The TV actor took to his social media account and shared the good news with his fans in a video.

In the video, shared on Instagram, Anas looks elated on arrival of his little bundle of joy. The video has been captioned as, "Hi dear ones, We are blessed with a baby girl yesterday. Both mother and baby are in good health. Thank you all for your blessings and wishes. Anas Rashid"

Anas Rashid tied the knot with 14 years younger Heena in April 2017. Ever since then, the couple is in a happy space.

On the professional front, Anas Rashid made his TV debut with Ekta Kapoor's hit show 'Kahiin Toh Hoga'. He rose to fame with his first lead role in 'Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan' and became a household name after 'Diya Aur Baati Hum'. He was last seen in a cameo in 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' sequel 'Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh, Piyaji'.
