New Delhi: TV actor Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya was rushed to the hospital after she met with an accident recently. Diyanka's husband Vivek Dahiya and her publicist shared the news on Instagram. Divyanka has fractured her arm and will undergo surgery today, April 19. Vivek shared a picture of Divyanka's X-Ray on Gram.

Vivek also cancelled his live session to be with his wife. Vivek shared on Instagram story, "Divyanka mam has broken two bones on her arm and will undergo surgery tomorrow. She's in safe hands as updated (sic)." He also shared another story mentioning that Divya fell from a height last evening due to which she broke her forearm. She has been advised immediate surgery for recovery, Dahiya wrote in another story.
Divyanka's PR team also took to their official Instagram handle to announce the news. "We’re sorry to announce that Vivek’s live session scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed till further notice. Divyanka had an accident a few hours back and is now under medical care. Vivek is with her as she recovers. We thank you for your understanding and support. And join us in wishing Divyanka a speedy recovery. Vivek is eager to connect with all of you soon," they wrote.
When Divyanka underwent surgery for ligament tear in August 2023
The news also comes months after Divyana underwent surgery for two ligament tears in August last year. Sharing a video of her journey on Instagram the, Divyanka had written a long post that read, "The moment I decided to get 2 of my very old complete ligaments tear corrected, I started strengthening my body for the upcoming trauma and lull by working out in a focused manner. I planned my physio carefully so that I can bounce back timely. @vivekdahiya was a sweetheart, not letting my smile fade even for a moment. My take away, if you don’t take something to be a low point, it won’t be! You may fall but plan well to bounce back.”
Meanwhile, Vivek and Divyanka met on the sets of the popular TV show 'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' and became a pair soon after. They tied the knot on July 8, 2016.
