Many fans wondered if DeepVeer and Ranbir-Alia planned to ring in the New Year together as they were spotted at the same place. The two couples even posed together for their fans before leaving for Mumbai. According to a report in an entertainment portal, Deepika-Ranveer and Ranbir-Alia didn't make any plans to welcome 2021 together.

It was nothing but a coincidence as Ranbir and Alia had reportedly planned their vacation in advance.

"Ranbir, Alia and their families had planned their holiday in Ranthambore for New Years months in advance. Alia ran into Deepika in the last week of December and they began chatting on holiday plans for the New Years. That’s when they got to know that both of them were heading to the same destination for New Years," a source told SpotBoyE.

Even though DeepVeer were stationed at the same place, they didn't spent time with the Kapoors and the Bhatt family. Ranveer's photos with Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Neetu Singh circulated like wildfire on the internet. Their fans believed that all the three families had a blast together.

"Ranveer and Deepika are on their own. Pictures on social media are giving the wrong impression of the couple clasped to the Kapoors for the vacation. That’s not the way it is. Deepika can never be comfortable around Ranbir’s mother. She was never made to feel welcome when she was seeing Ranbir," a mutual friend of Deepika and Alia told the portal.

Deepika and Ranveer, who will be next seen together in Kabir Khan's '83', enjoyed a jungle safari in Ranthambore. Alia Bhatt, Ranbir were also seen enjoying the ride along with Soni Razdan and Shaheen Bhatt. The 'Raazi' actress took to Instagram to wish her fans on New Year and give them a glimpse of her vacation.

Ranveer, Deepika, Ranbir and Alia returned to Mumbai in a charter plane on Saturday (January 2). The couples greeted the paparazzi at the private airport before leaving for their houses. Ranveer and Alia will reportedly resume the shoot for 'Circkus' and 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' respectively.
