New Delhi: Television couple Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary became proud parents of a baby girl for the second time on Friday.  Gurmeet Choudhary took to Instagram to reveal the news to the couple’s fans. He also revealed that the baby has been born prematurely.

He posted a picture of the couple with Deina holding a pink balloon and It’s a girl is written on the picture. The caption read, “Welcome our baby girl into the world. As ecstatic as we are becoming parents again, we appreciate some privacy at this time as our baby has come into the world sooner than due. Keep blessing and showering your continued love 💕🙏”

Debina and Gurmeet had announced their second pregnancy in August. The announcement came four months after the couple welcomed their daughter Lianna.

Debina had shared a picture of herself hugging Gurmeet along with their daughter, holding an ultrasound image, and wrote, “Few decisions are divinely timed and nothing can change that…this is one such blessing..coming soon to complete us.”

The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Lianna, in April this year.

Debina has been open about her struggle to conceive. She revealed how she coped with endometriosis and that they had struggled to conceive a baby because of her medical condition for a very long time. She had recently opened up about the complications she faced during her first baby during an interview with Bombay Times. “The fight to become a mother lasted five years. I failed five times during the process, which included three IUIs and two IVFs. I also tried alternative therapies, like acupuncture and flower therapy. I would cry all the time because I held myself responsible for the failure,” Debina was quoted as saying by the Bombay Times.
