Yes, you read it right, Disha Vakani aka Daya Ben who went on a maternity leave in October 2017 is not making a comeback to the famous comedy show.
Apparently, Disha, who delivered a baby girl on November 30, 2017 was expected to join the show after a few months but she was not ready to get back to work as she wants to concentrate on bringing up her child till March 2018.
At that time, the makers had shot a few scenes at Disha’s house, as per her convenience, and used those shots over a period of time as filler shots.
The talks were still on between Disha and makers about her comeback however, that did not materialise either, as Disha couldn’t make up her mind.
And since then, fans have been waiting curiously to see Daya ben make a comeback. But looks like Daya ben is out of the scene.
According to a report published in SpotboyE, the actress had laid some conditions with her timings and availability along with monetary concerns to makers, who in return said that they would love to have her back, but cannot comply with her conditions. Discussions went on and on for months, but now, the final outcome is that both parties have mutually decided to end their association.
A well-placed source informed, “It’s been almost a year Disha has been missing from the show. However, it hasn't affected the TRP as such and so, the makers are also ok with the idea of not having her on the show.”
