New Delhi: After deleting each other's photos from Instagram, Dalljiet Kaur and her husband Nikhil Patel have also unfollowed each other from Instagram amid divorce rumours. Former Bigg Boss 13 contestant and Nikhil, a UK-based businessman got married a year ago. Dalljiet has also dropped Patel from her name.
Speculations about their divorce started earlier this month when Dalljiet removed all the photos with Nikhil, including wedding photos, from Instagram. Nikhil also changed his Instagram bio from ‘Girl Boy Dad’ to ‘Girl Dad’. Nikhil, who has two daughters from previous marriage, had changed his Instagram bio to ‘Girl Boy Dad’ after his wedding with Dalljiet. Dalljiet still follows Nikhil's daughter Aariyana Patel.
Dalljiet has a son named Jaydon from her previous marriage with Shalin actor Bhanot.
Amid the separation rumours, Kaur’s spokesperson issued a statement to ETimes that read, "I hereby state that Dalljiet and Jaydon (her son) are in India currently for Dalljiet’s dad's surgery followed by her Maa's surgery as well, which required them to be beside him... in addition to this I would only like to say that Dalljiet at the moment would not like to many any comments on anything because the kids are in the picture."
Dalljiet got engaged to Kenya-based businessman Nikhil Patel in January 2023, they got married in March 2023. Dalljiet shifted to Kenya along with her son Jaydon after her marriage.
