TV actress Adaa Khan, who became a household name after playing the antagonist in the first and second season of Ekta Kapoor's top-rated 'Colors' show 'Naagin', is away from fiction shows ever since 'Naagin 2' went off-air in March last year. Adaa's fans are missing seeing her on TV & are desperately waiting for her comeback. Recently, there was buzz that Adaa has been roped in by Balaji Telefilm for their upcoming show 'Daayan' on '&TV'. But according to latest reports, Adaa is not a part of 'Daayan' and will be back in the fiction space with upcoming 'Colors' show 'Vish Ya Amrit -Sitara'.

Yes, you read that right!

Adaa Khan, who is known for her negative roles in popular shows like 'Naagin', Naagin 2', and 'Amrit Manthan', will reportedly play the positive lead in 'Sitara'.

Speaking about the same, a source close to the project told a leading daily that, "The show is set against the backdrop of Jaisalmer and the shoot for the first schedule will commence soon in Bikaner. The story, which is based on the folklore of Vishakanya, revolves around a girl named Sitaara, who fights every odd to protect her family. The makers of the show have finalised Adaa to play the heroine and she fits the part perfectly."

Adaa too confirmed the news and told TOI that, "Yes, I am a part of the show and will play the title role. It's a positive character. I am excited and looking forward to commencing the shoot."

The promo of 'Sitara' is already on-air & the show's cast also comprises names like Shilpa Saklani, Shakti Anand, Lavina Tandon and Falaq Naaz in pivotal roles. Check out the show's promo below:

On the career front, Adaa made her TV debut with Sony TV's 'Palampur Express' in 2009. After which, she rose to fame as 'Aakashi' in 'Star Plus' show 'Behenein' and went on to be a part of many popular shows.
