Television actress Debina Bonnerjee was loved as the first 'Mayuri' of SAB TV's long-running show 'Chidiya Ghar'. But, the actress later quit the show and 'Mahabharat' actress Shafaq Naaz replaced her in the show in 2014. Since then, Shafaq has been doing a great job as 'Mayuri' but now there's a bad news for her fans as a new actress has been roped in to play the role in 'Chidiya Ghar'. Reportedly, Shafaq has quit the show and 'Bigg Boss 10' fame Monalisa, a well-known Bhojpuri actress' will be the new 'Mayuri'.

‘Bigg Boss 10’ contestant Monalisa’s sizzling BIKINI avatar from her Malaysia vacation is TOO HOT to handle!
Speaking about her exit from the show, Shafaq told a leading daily that, "I have been a part of 'Chidiya Ghar' for the past two-and-a-half years. I wasn't able to give time to myself and hence, decided to take a break for a couple of months."

Monalisa confirmed her entry in 'Chidiya Ghar' and told Bombay Times that, "'Chidiya Ghar' is a popular, long-running show. A new show takes time to establish and also, its fate is uncertain. On the other hand, it will be easier for the audience to connect with me as an already established character. Another reason I grabbed this opportunity is because I loved the character — Mayuri expresses through her eyes and breaks into a dance frequently. I also love to dance irrespective of my mood so I could relate to her."
