New Delhi: Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss is one of the most followed and popular reality shows on Indian television. Bigg Boss is considered as the biggest reality show in India because it creates maximum buzz on social media even before its launch. The show, which is known to attract controversies, failed to strike a chord with the viewers last season. Although, Bigg Boss 12 featured names like Dipika Kakar, Karanvir Bohra, Neha Pendse and Sriti Rode, it couldn’t set the TRP charts on fire.

After a blockbuster Bigg Boss 11, all eyes were on BB 12 but the season proved to be quite boring and the fans expressed their displeasure of social media. TV’s popular bahu Dipika Kakar defeated the likes of Sreesanth, Deepak Thakur, Romil Chaudhary and Karanvir Bohra to lift the winner’s trophy of Bigg Boss 12.

Fans are eagerly waiting for Bigg Boss 13 and we even informed you that the show might get a new location.

Bigg Boss 13: Goodbye Lonavala! Salman Khan’s show to get a new location

As per the latest buzz, after a flop season 12, the makers of Bigg Boss have decided to make some new changes for the next season. Yes, you read that right.

The makers have apparently decided to do away with the concept of commoners from the upcoming season of Bigg Boss, a report in an entertainment portal said.

"This decision has been taken after the debacle from last year, where the choices of the commoner participants were questioned blatantly," a source told Bollywoodlife.

We have seen the concept of commoners entering Bigg Boss house since season ten in 2016 when the likes of Manu Punjabi and Manveer Gurjar participated as commoner contestants.

Interestingly, a few seasons (season 1, 2 and 6) featured commoners but the concept of commoners participating in Bigg Boss became a norm from BB 10 in 2016. The makers had tweaked the format to make it celebs vs commoners three years back. The said season was won by Manveer Gurjar who defeated Bani J and Lopa Mudra in the finale.

Over the years, the likes of Puneesh Sharma, Bandagi Kalra, Arshi Khan, Manu Punjabi, Nitibha Kaul and Luv Tyagi have gained popularity after participating in Bigg Boss.

Do you want the makers to continue the format of commoners vs celebs or only feature known celebrities as participants.
