New Delhi: Popular TV actress Dipika Kakar won several hearts with her portrayal of the caring and docile bahu in ‘Sasural Simar Ka’. After quitting the show in 2017, the actress went on to play a cameo in ‘Qayamat Ki Raat’ on Star Plus. The beautiful actress, who tied the knot with Shoaib Ibrahim last year, lifted the winner’s trophy of Bigg Boss 12. Dipika defeated the likes of Sreesanth, Karanvir Bohra and Romil Chaudhary to win the reality show.


Fans have been eagerly waiting to see Dipika back on their TV screens. We had earlier informed you that the actress will make a comeback to the fiction genre with Sandiip Sikcand’s upcoming show on Star Plus.

Dipika will star opposite popular TV actor Karan V Grover in the show. As per the latest buzz, the actress has started shooting for the show which has been tentatively titled ‘Pani Puri’.

Now, producer Sandiip has shared an interesting picture of Dipika from the sets of the upcoming show. The caption of picture read, “Heroine” toh faint ho gayi.’’

Fans have flooded the comments section with their messages, asking the producer if Dipika is fine or not. We wonder if Dipika really fainted or this is a promotional gimmick by the makers.

On a related note, Dipika was not keeping well since the past few days and her hubby Shoaib informed her fans that she has recovered from her illness.

Sharing a picture with Dipika, the ‘Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai’ actor wrote, ‘’Mera beemar bacha theek hogaya ????????????????ShukrAllah!! Duaon ke liye shukriya.’’


Talking about ‘Pani Puri’, the show will focus on the love story of two individuals who are willing to give love another chance.

The show is expected to replace ‘Yeh Hai Mohabbatein’ at the 10:30pm slot on Star Plus.
